WSU investigating threat targeting women

FAIRBORN —

Wright State University sent out an email Wednesday afternoon informing the university community that university police department is investigating a group of males claiming that they will be seeking out females in order to assault them.

The email reads:

“Community notification of possible threat: The WSU Police Department has received information from a known source that a group of males plans this weekend and Halloween night to wear masks and seek out females walking alone on or near campus with the purpose of assaulting them. WSU police are currently investigating it and all leads in this case.”
