Man Accused In Standoff, High-Speed Chase Pleads Guilty

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio —

A Warren County man, accused in a standoff and chase through several area counties, appeared in court on Friday and pleaded guilty.

Lindsey Williams, 37, pleaded guilty to more than 20 charges, including felonious assault and inducing panic.

Police said in December of 2006, Williams fired more than hundred shots at officers during an hour-long standoff, stole a police car and then led officers on a high-speed chase.

Williams was arrested in Clermont County after an officer shot him in the leg. He is set to be sentenced next month.
