Man charged in Piqua murder of child back in court

PIQUA, Ohio —

A Troy man, Travis Gauldin, charged last week with ther murder of the 4-year-old daughter of his then-girlfriend in Piqua, was back in court to answer to violations of  his probation Wednesday morning.

Gauldin was on probation for theft and drug trafficking. He admitted to the violations before Miami County Municipal Court Judge Elizabeth Gutmann. Gauldin also admitted to abusing  synthetic marijuana known as "spice."
