Man Convicted In Forged Home Sales Gets Prison, Fines

A man who used the identities of dead people to forge home sales is heading to prison.

Mark Musselman will spend the next 12 years in prison and will have to pay more than $4 million in fines.

Musselman was convicted of forgery and theft, investigators said he owned a Vandalia mortgage company that used the identities of dead people to secure home loans totaling millions of dollars.

Tuesday Musselman apologized in court.

An employee of Musselman's was also convicted in the case .

Mark Edwards will be sentenced in two weeks.
