Man Holds Police In Trotwood Standoff

TROTWOOD, Ohio —

Police said a Trotwood man refused to come out of his neighbor's home for more than an hour on Wednesday.

The incident happened in the 400 block of Catalina Avenue. Police said they had been looking for the suspect for a week following a domestic violence incident.

During that incident, authorities said 19-year-old Sean Brown fired two guns and considered him armed and dangerous.

Officers spotted Brown on Wednesday and said he ran into the neighbor’s home. The homeowner said she cannot believe Brown was involved in something like this.

Police said Brown’s mother used her cell phone to call him and convinced him to surrender.
