Man hurt in Logan County rollover crash

LOGAN COUNTY —

A 35-year-old man was injured after a rollover crash early Sunday morning.

State troopers were called to Township Road 33 north at Township Road 207 around 5 :00 a.m.

They said the vehicle was traveling on Township Road 33 when it went off the right side of the road, over corrected, and went off the left side. Trooper Andrew Rey said the vehicle ended up in a field where it rolled several times. It landed on its top.

Rey said medics found Joshua Shepard hanging out of the vehicle.

Shepard was taken by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He is listed in serious condition.

Rey said Shepard admitted having three beers earlier. He said troopers will get blood test results from the hospital.

Rey said Shepard will be charged with failure to control, with other charges possible.

Shepard listed residences in South Charleston and Bellefontaine, and has a Tennessee license.
