EATON, Preble County —
Police arrested a man on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and child endangerment, after he was reportedly driving drunk with a 5-year-old inside the vehicle early Thursday morning, according to police.
Adam Caylor, 25, was booked into the Preble County jail following his arrest at 215 Miller Avenue around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, officers said.
Officers received a call from a woman in the 800 block of Cypress Lane, who told officers Caylor was at her home intoxicated and was attempting to leave the house with the 5-year-old, police said. Caylor reportedly left the house in an older model white pickup with no tailgate and the child was inside the vehicle, officers said.
Police were able to locate the vehicle at the home on Miller, according to officials
The Eaton Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
