Mayor's Walk Led To Drug Arrests

DAYTON, Ohio —

Residents who complained to the Mayor of Dayton about a drug house on their street, prompted in a drug bust and two arrests.

Anthony Stargell, 43, and Rodney Oliver, 38, were arrested Thursday night.

According to police reports, neighbors in the 800 block of South Euclid Street complained to Mayor Rhine McLin about the drug house during her Mayor's walk through the neighborhood.

Hours later police arrived and arrested Stargell and Oliver.

They confiscated 700 grams of crack and heroin along with $12,000 in cash.

Both men are facing drug charges.
