Miami Co. Crash Snarls Traffic On I-75

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio —

The Piqua post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that involved a semi and a pickup truck carrying a trailer.

The crash happened Monday morning in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 about a mile south of Tipp City.

According to troopers, the driver of the TruGreen lawn care truck slowed down on the highway because of traffic. They said a semi swerved to miss the pickup truck, but clipped the corner of the trailer.

Minor damage was reported. Troopers said the driver of the pickup truck suffered an unknown injury and refused treatment at the scene.

Traffic was backed up for about a mile, but continued to move at a slow pace.

The crash remains under investigation.
