Motorcycle Driver OK After Vandalia Crash

VANDALIA, Ohio —

A motorcycle driver is expected to be OK after losing control of his motorcycle and flipping over the bike’s handlebars.

Vandalia police said the single motorcycle crash happened along Dixie Highway. Witnesses said the driver lost control and landed on his head.

Emergency responders put CareFlight on standby because of the driver’s head injury. Police said CareFlight was cancelled when the driver started talking and appeared alert.

Police described the driver’s injuries as non-life threatening.

Dixie Highway was shut down a short time because of the crash.
