WEST MILTON, Ohio —

The 2012-13 school year in the Milton-Union School Distict will start out on August 22 in a brand new 217,000 square foot aid-conditioned facility.

While the contractors finish their work, the school district has started the move into the new complete. High school students are already using the weight room, and will begin using the gym on Monday, June 25.

The building was projected to cost $42M, but the bids came in about three million dollars under the estimate due to the economy, explained School Supt. Dr. Virginia Rammel.

A public auction sale is scheduled for Thursday, June 28 in the old elementary building.
