New Carlisle Couple Target Of Home Invasion

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio —

Deputies in Clark County said an older couple had to be checked out by medics Friday night after several men with their faces covered broke into their home.

The home invasion happened around 9 p.m. on Christina Drive, which is located off Route 235 north of New Carlise.

Deputies said the three men made the couple sit on the couch while they robbed them of their jewelry. Investigators said the men then fled the scene.

According to deputies, one of the residents was able to call 911. The couple was checked out by medics, but was not taken to a local hospital.

Deputies said the three men are believed to be ages 18 to 30.
