DAYTON, Ohio —
Late Monday afternoon, officers released new video from the scene in hopes that someone will recognize the attacker and turn her in.
The video shows a woman stabbing the man in the eye with the stiletto heel of her shoe. The attack happened in late June in the drive-through of a McDonald's Restaurant.
A McDonald's employee pulled out a iPhone and shot the amazingly clear video capturing the attack.
In the video a group of women attack the man in the passenger side of the vehicle at the drive-through window. At one point in the video, a woman in a striped dress with something in her hair, lunged towards the victim, striking him again and again.
Investigators have been studying not only the video, but also still photographs taken from the video.
They believe they know the make and model of the vehicle the suspect was in and have a few leads, but they are still trying to learn the identity of the women who were involved in the attack.
The employee who had the video was slow to come forward for fear of retaliation. However, now that police have it, they are confident that someone watching it will be able to recognize the attacker.
The man who was injured may lose his eye.
Anyone with information about the case should call Dayton Police at 333-COPS.
Officers believe the women in the video are local and may still be in the Dayton area.
