Officers Raid Suspected Chop Shop

DAYTON, Ohio —

Two men are in custody after Dayton police raided a suspected chop shop. The raid happened on Wednesday at an old foundry located near Kiser and Ray streets.

An informant told police that the building housed a chop shot and a methamphetamine lab. Investigators said they found no evidence of drugs, but said they did find one stolen pickup truck and dozens of vehicles in pieces.

Officers said this will be a long-term investigation, but so far no one has been charged.
