Pet python back in cage

UNION CITY, Ind. —

A pet python that escaped from its cage and was contained in a wall in the owner’s home is back in its cage.

Union City Police Captain Bill Bradbury said police received a call for a pet snake on the loose Wednesday. The snake was then discovered in the walls where pipes are in the owner’s home in the 600 block of West Pearl Street, he said.

By Friday afternoon, the snake was back in its cage.
