Police: Explosives Discovered Inside Van

DAYTON, Ohio —

The Dayton Bomb Squad is on the scene of a suspected chop shop after a van was discovered wired with explosives. The raid took place on Wednesday at an old foundry near the intersection of Kiser and Ray streets.

Authorities said two men were arrested after an informant told officers that the building housed a chop shop and a methamphetamine lab.

Investigators found dozens of vehicles in pieces and a stolen pickup truck. When authorities returned to the scene on Thursday, they found the van wired with the explosives.
