DAYTON —

A man reportedly frustrated with the service he was receiving from a clerk at the Valero on the corner of Smithville and Huffman roads pulled out a loaded handgun, police said.

The incident occurred at the station around 3 a.m. Friday, when the man was upset for being put second in line behind another customer. The man became frustrated and pulled out the weapon, but never fired any shots. The clerk was never in any immediate danger, as he was behind bulletproof glass, Dayton Lt. Donald Burden said.

Police also searched the vehicle the man arrived at the gas station in and were unable to find any other ammunition, police said.

The suspect was arrested and could face charges of aggravated menacing and inducing panic, said Lt. Burden.
