Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at Super Subby’s on Tuesday night.

Deputies responded to the store, 4814 N. Main St., shortly after 7 p.m.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Troy Bodine said the robber, wearing a mask or scarf over his face, walked in and displayed a handgun. He demanded cash from the two employees and got away with an undisclosed amount.

There were no customers at the time and no one was injured, Bodine said.

The robber was described as a male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 185 pounds, last seen wearing a black Carhartt brand jacket.

A K9 unit tracked the robber but then lost the scent. He may have fled in a vehicle, Bodine said.

To provide a tip, call the regional dispatch center at (937) 225-4357.
