Police: Robber’s neck ‘covered in tattoos’

DAYTON —

A man was robbed at gunpoint about a mile from his home Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at approximately 12:30 p.m., according to the Dayton police report.

The 24-year-old victim told police he was walking in the 3100 block of Prescott Avenue when he was approached by a man asking questions at the corner of Prescott and Shaftsbury Road.

When the victim said he had to go, the robber pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the robber got away with $250, according to the report.

The victim said the robber was about his size, but his neck is “covered in tattoos,” according to the report.
