Police Search For Man In Attempted Abduction

Police in Enon are looking for a man who they said tried to attempted to abduct a 9-year-old boy.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon on Cardinal Drive.

Officers said the boy was playing in a cul-de-sac when a black male around 6 feet tall, tried to grab him. They said the boy noticed that the man had a knife.

According to police, the boy managed to get away and fell, scrapping his knee as he fled. The boy jumped onto this bike and went home to tell his parents.

Police said they are searching for the man using a K-9 unit.
