Prison Guard Allegedly Had Sex With Inmate

A Richmond, Indiana prison guard has been accused of having sex with an imate.

Jamie Shelly, 25, was charged with sexual misconduct for an inappropriate relationship with an inmate at the New Castle Correctional Facility.

Officials said that is a felony charge that carries a possible four-year prison sentence.

Shelly also faces charges of trafficking drugs with an inmate.

Prison officials confirmed the charges but they are not releasing any details on the nature of the relationship between Shelly and the inmate. TONIGHT SHELLY IS FREE ON BOND AND FACES TRIAL IN OCTOBER.
