Prostitute Mom Will Not Serve Jail Time

DAYTON, Ohio —

A Dayton mother accused of trying to sell her daughter for sex, will not be serving prison time as part of her sentence.

A judge sentenced Teresa Brock, 45, to five years of community control. Brock will get out of jail on Tuesday.

However there is a catch, the judge said Brock is not allowed to have contact with her daughter.

Brock went before Judge Michael Tucker Tuesday morning in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. She pleaded guilty earlier this month to a charge of promoting prostitution after police said she offered her daughter for sex-related services to an undercover Dayton police officer.

Her daughter, 19, was also arrested on a charge of solicitation. She remains in jail with a trial set for next month.

Brock must also participate in the county's theft clinic and chemical dependency education program.
