Public asked to help find missing Kettering man

KETTERING —

Police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing endangered adult.

John Neil, 69, walked away from his home on West Dorothy Lane Monday morning and hasn’t been seen since, according to the Kettering Police Department.

Neil suffers from mental disorders and has a history of violent tendencies, according to police.

On a prior occasion Neil left home and took a bus to Chicago.

Neil is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with long hair and a light colored beard. He was last seen wearing jeans, black or blue jacket and a blue scarf.
