Rash Of Bank Robberies In Kettering

Kettering police are trying to track down a bank robber.

A man walked into the Union Saving Bank on Wilmington Pike Friday morning with a note demanding money, police said.

He took off on foot with the cash out the back of the bank, police said.

Then Kettering police were later called to another bank robbery at the National City Bank in the Town and Country Shopping Plaza, police said.

Officers said this robbery was similar to the one on Wilmington Pike, but they don’t think the two are connected.
