Reward Stills Stands In Greenville Arson Fire

GREENVILLE, Ohio —

Fire officials in Greenville said they continue to seek to help in solving an arson case.

A $5,000 reward continues to be offered for a fire that was intentionally set on May 25. The fire happened in the 400 block of Locust Street near Fourth Street in Greenville.

The house was a two-family dwelling that was sold two days before the fire at a Sheriff’s sale.

The fire was spotted by a Greenville police officer who was on routine patrol. The duplex, which was built in 1905, is beyond repair.

The fire was ruled arson. Fire officials posted a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and the conviction of the person responsible for setting the fire.

If you have any information about the fire, contact Greenville Police or the Greenville Fire Department.
