Richmond Banks Issue Warning About Scam

RICHMOND, Indiana —

Banks in Richmond, Ind., are warning customers that someone is trying to steal money by making a phone call.

West End Bank, First Bank Richmond and Wayne Bank and Trust have issued a joint warning. The banks said someone will call customers asking for a credit or debit card number and PIN or their card could be canceled.

If you receive one of these types of calls, make a report with the Indiana Attorney General's Office.
