HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County —

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at the Tim Horton’s restaurant on Needmore Road, which occurred early Friday morning, according to reports.

Deputies responded to the store, 2312 Needmore Rd., around 12:45 a.m. after the robbery reportedly occurred. A masked white man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money.

A K-9 unit was dispatched to the scene to search for a possible suspect. The K-9 tracked south from the restaurant, according to reports.

No additional information was immediately available.

The same store was the target of a robber on July 1, when a man wearing a ball cap and partial mask, robbed the restaurant armed with a hand gun. During the July 1 robbery the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
