Shoplifting Suspect Arrested, Wanted For Escape

DAYTON, Ohio —

A Dayton shoplifting suspect was arrested Friday after he allegedly struggled with a store security guard, police said.

Investigators said Ivan Twitty, 29, was spotted stuffing merchandise into his pants at the Rite Aid pharmacy on North Main Street.

Officers said that when Twitty was confronted, he struggled with the security guard but was eventually arrested.

Police discovered that Twitty was wanted on a charge of escape.
