SIDNEY, Ohio —
"I'm very sorry," the words of 33-year-old Sean Fisher of Sidney as he was about to be sentenced Tuesday afternoon in Shelby County Common Pleas Court in Sidney on a charge of aggravated burglary.
Judge James Stevenson thenĀ sentenced Fisher to 4 years in prison and ordered him to pay restitiution that amounted to over $11,0000.
That burglary back on January 18, 2012 ended in a police stand-off that lasted for several hours.
Fisher had been indicted on 13 charges to include kidnapping, but 12 of the 13 offenses were dismissed by the prosecutor as part of the plea bargain in his case.
The order by the Judge for Fisher to serve 4 years in prison was the joint sentencing recommedation by both the defense and the prosecution.
Fisher had been in jail since his arrest after attempting to out run police ending the stand-off.
