DARKE COUNTY, Ohio —

Darke County deputies suspect that speed could be the reason for a crash Saturday afternoon that killed three Greenville area teens on Byrket Road off State Route 121 at Barry Dr.

Both Austine Meade and Justice Meade, ages 16, who are cousins, were students at Greenville High School. Brian Mendenhall, age 15, is a student at Tri-Village North in New Madison, according to Darke County deputies.
