State Fire Marshal reacts to New Bremen fire

NEW BREMEN, Ohio —

Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's Office react to the fire Monday evevning in New Bremen that destroyed an old opera house built back in 1895. It housed the Fireside Pub and a barbershop.

- Fire appeared to be accidental, no evidence of criminal intent.

- Building was locked and secured at the time of the fire.

- The fire originated in the area of the restaurant/bar between the first and second floor.

- No injuries were reported.

- The case will officially be ruled "undetermined."
