Suspect In Stepfather Stabbing Competent To Stand Trial

MIAMISBURG, Ohio —

There is new information in a death penalty case as a man accused of fatally stabbing his stepfather was found competent to stand trial.

Cody Henderson, 20, was charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault in the death of his stepfather.

Miamisburg police arrested Henderson last October, saying he stabbed Charles Zan more than 40 times.

Earlier this year, police also arrested Henderson’s mother, Pandora Zan. She faces murder charges.
