Suspect In Wilmington Homicide Gets $15M Bond

WILMINGTON, Ohio —

Authorities said bond was set at $15 million for a man accused of killing an elderly bar owner.

Roger Curtis, 39, appeared in court on Thursday. He is accused of killing 82-year-old Jim Xidas outside the Manhattan Lounge in Wilmington.

Xidas was found stabbed to death in the parking lot on Tuesday. Wilmington Police said evidence found in two locations, less than a mile from where Xidas was stabbed, led them to Curtis.

Employees at the bar said the suspect had been coming around the bar lately. Curtis was charged with murder and aggravated robbery.
