Suspected 'Granny Robber' Makes Deal With Bank

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio —

A 68-year-old Middletown woman suspected of being the “Granny Robber” has agreed to pay restitution for at least one bank robbery she’s suspected of committing.

Barbara Joly agreed to pay restitution to one bank in Middletown, although Joly’s attorney told police his client didn’t think she robbed the bank.

Despite the agreement, police have said their criminal investigation against Joly will continue.

Joly is charged with three robberies in Warren County and considered a suspect in the Middletown robbery.
