Suspects Arrested For Possession Of Bomb Making Materials

XENIA, Ohio —

Three men are behind bars Tuesday suspected of making bottle bombs. The three men were seen by police walking near the intersection of Hayes and Edison Drives in Xenia around 2:30 a.m.

Suspects Arrested For Manufacturing Explosives Police said the men were carrying two-liter bottles filled with gasoline. They also said the men were in possession of materials to make a molotov cocktail.

James Cougar, 21, and David McMillan, of Fairborn, and Steven Stratton, 18, of Huber Heights, are now in the Greene County Jail.

Authorities are trying to determine why the trio had the materials and where they were going with the items. It is unclear on their motive.
