Tax Credit To Bring 140 Jobs

COLUMBUS, Ohio —

The State Development Department said Monday it has awarded a tax credit worth $404,072 over the next six years to a local shipping company.

The company, Carter Logistics, plans to create 140 new jobs at a site to be determined in Montgomery County.

Carter Logistics would be required to maintain operations at the project site for nine years.

Total cost of the project is expected to be $5.5 million.
