Teen girl latest victim of white T-shirt flasher

DAYTON —

A man suspected of flashing women on several occasions may have been spotted Friday morning, this time by a juvenile girl on her way to the bus stop.

The incident was reported by a 16-year-old girl shortly before 8 a.m. in the 600 block of Brooklyn Avenue, according to the Dayton police report.

The girl reported seeing a heavy-set black man with a shirt tied around his head exposing himself and masturbating, according to the report.

A serial flasher fitting that description was active earlier this year, including an unsolved incident in August in the 300 block of Brooklyn Avenue.

On Monday morning, there were two more sightings. Dayton police investigated a similar incident in the 100 block of Lorenz Avenue, and Trotwood police responded to reported sighting at South Broadway Street and Grand Avenue.

Sgt. Larry Tolpin of Dayton police said a recent victim may be able to provide enough of a description to lead to identifying the suspect. In addition, Tolpin said investigators are acting on a vehicle description of a dark-colored Impala that’s associated with one of the incidents.

Searches so far have not been fruitful and no suspects have been identified by police.
