Tipp City man briefly argues with Magistrate over high bond

TROY, Ohio —

Tipp City area man, Jeffrey Bowlin, charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, vandalism  and assault questioned Magistrate Gary Zuhl when he set his cash bond at $250,000 on each of two felonies.

Two men were arrested over the week end by Troy police  following a Friday night home invasion in an apartment on McKaig Ave. in Troy.

The second defendant is Mathew Rohr of near Tipp City. He also faces charges of  aggravated robbery and kidnapping. His cash bond  totals $500,000.

Police believe it was over a drug deal.

The pair are also being questioned in connection with several other unsolved robberies in Miami County.
