Tipp City Man Gets High Bond In Shots Fired Case

TIPP CITY, Ohio —

A high cash bond was set Friday morning for a Tipp City man accused of firing shots at an apartment complex in Tipp City on Thursday morning.

Danny Linkus, 62, was arrested on reports of shots being fired at the Bellview Apartments on North Hyatt Street. He was charged with attempted murder and felonious assault.

In court, Linkus’ brother told Judge Elizabeth Gutmann that Danny is seriously ill mentally.

An attorney for the apartment complex spoke in court on behalf of the apartment owners.

Linkus’ bond was set at $500,000.
