WAPAKONETA —

Four men are facing felony drug and weapons charges after nearly $26,000 worth of drugs and a loaded gun were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop.

Around 9:20 p.m. Feb. 1, troopers stopped a 2002 Chevy Suburban with Indiana registration for a speed violation on eastbound U.S. 33 near milepost 15, according to a release. Troopers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a probable cause search warrant revealed several plastic bags containing ecstasy pills and a loaded 9 mm handgun.

The driver, Kenneth R. Moore, 52, of Fort Wayne, Ind. along with three passengers - C.T. Tell Jr., 42, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Anthony Bolden Jr., 36, of Detroit, Mich., and Jermaine A. Johnson, 27, of Jamaica, were arrested and taken to Mercer County Jail. Each faces charges of possession of drugs, a first-degree felony, and carrying concealed weapons, a fourth-degree felony.
