All lanes open on Jeremiah Morrow Bridge south

By News Staff

WARREN COUNTY —

The one-day pavement repair on the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge, done in the left lane of southbound Interstate 71, was completed at about noon Tuesday.

Sharon Smigielski, a public information officer with the Ohio Department of Transportation, said traffic on the bridge should be back to normal following the completion. The work was scheduled to shut down the lane from about 7:30 a.m. until about 1 p.m., according to ODOT.

ODOT had warned of possible traffic delays because of the planned work on the bridge, which at 420 feet above the Little Miami River is the tallest span in Ohio.
