ODOT: Work on I-75 will affect traffic

By Breaking News Staff

MIAMI VALLEY —

Road construction and repairs on Interstate 75 in Dayton and north of the city will require lane closures over the next several days, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.

*Starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday, one lane of traffic will be maintained during repairs on northbound I-75 between U.S. 35 and First Street, according to ODOT. The roadwork is scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. Thursday.

*Continuing from 9 a.m. until about 3 p.m. Thursday in Miami County, lanes will close daily on north and south I-75 between Ohio 41 and Northwoods Boulevard as crews remove loose concrete from overhead bridges, according to ODOT. The work is scheduled to end Friday afternoon.

*Starting at 6 p.m. Feb. 12, one lane will be closed overnight to accommodate bridge repairs on southbound I-75 between Dryden Road and Dixie Drive. Lanes are scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. the following day.

As always, ODOT urges motorists to remain alert to monitor speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through these work zones.
