Traveling Vietnam Wall To Visit Sidney

SIDNEY, Ohio —

The traveling Vietnam Wall, a replica of the wall in Washington, D.C., is coming to Sidney and will arrive on Wednesday night.

The wall will arrive by police and motorcycle escort to the VFW Post on County Road 25A. The escort will begin in Piqua.

The wall will be assembled beginning on Thursday morning and should be ready for visitors around noon. The wall will be available 24 hours a day until 7 p.m. Sunday when it will be dismantled.

There are special ceremonies planned for Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Viewing the wall is free and open to the public.
