Troy Couple Jailed On Suspicion Of Internet Soliciting

TROY, Ohio —

Police and detectives from the Troy Police Department executed a search warrant Friday evening on a Cedar Street home in Troy suspected as the location of an Internet house of prostitution.

Escorted from her home in handcuffs, shouting to a neighbor a phone number of a relative to care for her two children, was Rosezetta La Foe. Troy Police Capt. Chris Anderson said, "She faces a charge of promoting prostitution, solicting, and a litany of other charges."

Her husband, identified by police as Michael La Foe is charged with complicity to promoting prostitution.

Both husband and wife are in the Miami County Jail in Troy.

Anderson said the department's newly formed Internet crime search team found La Foe allegedly on Craigslist on the computer. "We engaged her on Internet chat, arranged for an appointment and sent an undercover police officer to her Cedar Street home Friday afternoon."

A short time later, police raided the location.

Police removed at least one computer and several grocery bags filled with evidence from the house.

Detectives had been working the case for a week or two.
