Two Local Suzuki Dealerships Lose Brand

CENTERVILLE, Ohio —

Declining sales have forced one automaker to cut its number of U.S. stores, including two in the Miami Valley.

Dave Arbogast Suzuki of Troy and Voss Suzuki of Centerville are no longer selling the Suzuki brand. Suzuki is going from about 400 U.S. dealers to 300.

Earlier this month, American Suzuki said sales had fallen 48 percent from the same period last year, amounting to fewer than 12,000 vehicles sold in the U.S. this year.

The nearest Suzuki dealer now is in Fairfield.
