Two Masked Men Rob Springfield Wendy’s

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio —

A fast-food worker was beaten on the head with a gun by two masked men who robbed the business.

The robbery and assault happened shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday at the Wendy’s on East Main Street in Springfield.

Police said as soon as the two robbers left, the worker called 911.

Investigators said the business had just closed and when an employee took out the trash, he was forced back inside by two masked men with guns.

Officers said the two men forced all the employees onto the floor and demanded money.

The robbers are described as two black men, wearing black sweatpants, red bandanas and black hooded sweatshirts .
