2 more arrested in Miami Co. residential break-ins

MIAMI CO., Ohio —

Two men accused of breaking into several residential properties were arraigned in court on Wednesday morning.

Chip Mills and Steven M. Baker were captured on Tuesday afternoon following a break-in at a home north of Piqua on Demming Road.

Mills, of Houston, was charged with one count of burglary and is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Baker, of Piqua, refused to leave his jail cell for the video arraignment. However, the judge charged him with rape, obtruction of official business, theft, burglary, breaking and entering and attempted theft.

The judge set Baker's bond at $390,000. A bond of $250,000 is on the rape charge alone.
