Van Bursts Into Flames On Interstate 75

Related

The State Highway Patrol is investigating after it said a van ended up in a ditch and on fire along Interstate 75 just past Interstate 675 Friday night.

Troopers said they believe the van was traveling southbound when a tire on the vehicle may have blown out.

They said the van hit the pavement, which caused sparks and may have caused the fire.

Four people were taken to area hospitals.

Two of those victims were taken by Careflight with critical injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
