Vandals Strike In Preble County

Vandals struck in Preble County causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Police said there have been nearly a dozen vandalism complaints in the past two weeks in the village of Eldorado.

Residents are outraged about the damage. The vandals have keyed cars, kicked in garage doors, and ruined a child's swimming pool.

Village Councilwoman Becky Eversole said, "We have a handicapped child with down syndrome who used the pool as a form of exercise, and his parents don't have the money to replace the pool."

The vandals most recently targeted the community's baseball dugout.

Investigators believe a teenager or group of teens roaming around at night are responsible for the damage.
