WASHINGTON TWP, Ohio —

Nine people are displaced after a fire spread through a multi-family apartment complex early Thursday morning.

Around 2:40 a.m. today, emergency crews responded to the 400 block of Windsor Park Drive after a fire spread into the attic of the building, damaging four units.

The fire caused $150,000 in damage, according to reports. Everyone was able to escape, but a Washington Twp. firefighter was taken to a local hospital with chest pains.

Officials also said that no pets died in the fire.

Washington Twp. Fire Department asked for mutual aid from other local departments.
